Story: The story of this film revolves around Salman Khan aka RajaSaab aka Sanjay Rajkot who is last king of Rajkot regime. He is being lauded by locals for his extraordinary work. One fine day, he beat the hell out of Prateik Babbar who plays a Minister Sathyaraj son here. Sathyaraj now wants to kick RajaSaab by taking the help of Haryana based police officer Kishore Kumar G. aka Prakash. Rashmika Mandanna aka Saisri Rajkot played loved interest of Salman Khan but she had limited screen presence. This film also stars Sharman Joshi and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Sikandar movie story is simple and had a strong human angle. After Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Salman looks good as an actor with no over acting. The screenplay is good and will be liked by family audience. The dialogues are whistle worthy. After a long time, Salman Khan Film Is so emotional and heart touching. If the film connects will the masses than there is no looking back. The story seems outdated but still it is a well made film for the masses. The production value is good and the movie is majorly shot in Mumbai and Dharavi. It is a perfect film for Salman Khan fans. I think older audience will like it but the younger generation may not like this film. As I earlier said, story is bit outdated. A R Murugadoss as a director has done a decent job here without loosing his elements. He could have made this film much better still a decent watch. I think audience haven’t seen Salman Khan in such a good form for a long time and they will appreciate Bhai’s performance. The music is decent but it could have been much better. The performances are good by Salman and Rashmika. Sathyaraj work is also good but somebody else could have done a better job here.
Altogether, Sikandar is one of those films that is a good watch on big screen. Still, this film has nothing new to offer but enjoyable at the big screens.
Last Word: Watch it for Salman Khan’s Swag. Also watch it for Rashmika Mandanna’s performance.
