Saina is the latest release Bollywood film on March 26, 2021. It is a biopic film on badminton player Saina Nehwal with a watch time of around 2 hours 15 minutes. It has been rated with U certificate from Indian Censor Board.
Saina is an inspirational and biopic film based on Indian Badminton star Saina Nehwal. It is a story of her struggles and coming out as a Badminton World Champion and Olympic medalist. Earlier, Shraddha Kapoor was to play the pivotal role but she opted out at the last moment due to other commitments and date issues. Well, Parineeti Chopra is the numero uno choice after Shraddha to play this epic role.
This film also stars Manav Kaul aka Rajan, Ankur Vikal aka Saina’s coach Jeevan Kumar, Meghana Malik aka Usha Rani Mehwal, Shubrajyoti Barat aka Harvir Singh Nehwal and many more.
Saina movie has been written and directed by Amole Gupte. The music composition has been done by Amaal Malik. The cinematography has been done by Piyush Shah and editing work handled by Deepa Bhatia. This film has been produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj, Rashesh Shah.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Parineeti Chopra did justice to the role of Saina Nehwal. Her hardwork can be easily seen in the visuals. I liked the dialogues of this movie, which is very relatable and inspirational. Its a brave attempt by Parineeti and director Amole Gupte. Manav Kaul did surprise us in his small role of a badminton coach. I enjoyed this film despite few flaws.
As per the latest update, Saina movie has been released around 980 screens in India. The budget of Saina hasn’t been revealed yet but it would reportedly be in a range of over 22 to 25 crores. Though, no official confirmation has been done yet over film budget and promotion cost details.
Altogether, Saina movie is getting mixed to positive response so far still its a worth watch.
