Rise Roar Revolt (RRR) is the second highest grossing film Worldwide after KGF Chapter 2, which minted around 1198 crores gross. RRR has lately released in Japan and has done decent collections in the country. Even, the star cast went to Japan to promote their Indian flick.

As per Variety.com, RRR collected USD 145 million which is (1193 crores) as per current market price. RRR movie has hit the Japanese screens on October 21, 2022 on Friday. RRR has collected JPY73 million ($495,000) in Japan in one week which is around 4.07 crores.

In Japan, RRR movie has been released with Japanese Subtitles. RRR movie has been distributed in Japan by Keizo Kabata’s Twin. RRR has been released in over 209 screens in Japan in 44 cities.

RRR movie was released on March 25, 2022 in India and overseas market. It even collected USD 14.5 million in North America, which is one of the highest for an Indian film. RRR Hindi version has collected 274.31 crores nett in India.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR movie stars Ram Charan, and Junion NTR in titular roles. It also features Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and many others in key roles. Interestingly, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 (jpy300 million-16.73 crores as per current time)is the second highest grossing Indian film in Japan after Rajinikanth’s Muthu (1998) (JPY 400 million-22.31 crores as per current time), reports Variety.com.
