Padmavat has not at all remained just a Bollywood film, it has now become a national issue of politics. At first, Rajasthan Government has banned this film for its release and now Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh also joined the hands.
Nearly a week ago, Padmavat release date has been announced for January 25, 2018. Since then, the protesters again started boycotting this film for its release in India. Protesters group says that they want a complete ban on Padmavat movie in India.

Within few days, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has confirmed that Padmavat will not be allowed to release in the state. Well, now two more BJP-led Indian states have announced the ban. Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan have confirmed the ban on Padmavat movie.
Meanwhile, some protestors were spotted at the front gate of Mumbai’s CBFC office, to protest against the film. Now, if three major states will not release this periodic film, then there is a certain loss of 60 to 70 crores for this film.
Altogether, even after Censor Board cleared this film, Padmavat movie has no certain future at the box office in India.
