Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story of this film is known by all and the presentation of that subject on screen is equally good by the makers. The dialogues are brilliantly written and I am happy that hindi actors given hindi dialogues only in the Marathi version as well. That means, if you watch Marathi versions all the big Bollywood actors in this movie majorly speak Hindi. Talking about performances, Riteish, Abhishek, Vidya Balan and Sanjay Dutt gave memorable performances. The film is visually rich and could be the biggest action entertainer from Marathi cinema in terms of budget and scale. The production value is superb and up to the mark. Talking about the camerawork, unlike others this film has many extreme close shots which is meaningful to the story. Most of this film shot in studios, which could be a drawback. More real locations could have made this film visually stunning but the makers chose to create that in studios with VFX. The VFX work is average which could have been much better. The screenplay is good, especially the way they named Chapters 1 to Chapter 10 to unviel the story. They made this film screenplay some what similar to Dhurandhar movies. The first half is fast paced and full of action. The second half is where the film get a bit slow but end on a high note. The music of Ajay-Atul is the biggest plus point of this movie and the background score is just electrifying.
Directed by Riteish Deshmukh and dialogues written by Prajakt Deshmukh. This movie has been produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Genelia D’Souza. It have been written by Ajit Wadekar, Sandeep Patil and Riteish. The cinematography has been done by Santosh Sivan and editing by Urvashi Saxena. The musical score has been givee by Ajay-Atul.
Altogether, Raja Shivaji is definitely a big scale spectacle for the audience and it has made quite well. I am impressed by the way Riteish has handle this project with heart and soul. Definitely, this film will surely turn to be a hit.
Last Word: Watch it for Salman Khan cameo appearance as Jiva Mahale is surprising.
