In Bangladesh since 1971, foreign films were not allowed to showcase and in return local films always got preferences. Well, in 2009, Salman Khan’s Wanted movie got brief release and due to protest it has been removed after a week. Well, there is hardly any Indian film made a mark in Bangladesh. Well, things have been changed for good in 2023, when Pathaan made its release possible in Bangladesh on May 12, 2023.
Well, there are 60 odd theaters in Bangladesh, and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan got released in 44 plus theaters and got 200 plus shows. The average siting capating of a particular show in Bangladesh is around 210 people. Pathaan average ticket price in Bangladesh is around 375 Bangladesh Taka.
As per reports, Pathaan is witnessing a Housefull response in Dhaka, Chittagong and other cities. As per the current update, Pathaan movie has reportedly earned around 81 lakhs plus Bangladeshi Taka ( 61.25 lakhs Indian Rupees) on day 1. That is a brilliant collections, if we consider this film has been released on January 25 in India and also available on OTT platform.
Audience is not only going to watch the film but also can be seen cheering and dancing for the king of romance SRK.
Pathaan movie has collected around 525 crores nett in India and around 1050 crores gross plus worldwide.
