One of the most awaited films of 2017 is Padmavati, which is now officially postponed by the makers. Earlier, there were rumors that Padmavati film might get postpone and release on January 12, 2017. And now, the production studio of Padmavati has confirmed that this movie will not be released on December 1, 2017.

Bollywood Trade critic Taran Adarsh confirmed this news on Twitter by saying, “BreakingNews: Padmavati release postponed… Viacom18 Motion Pictures, the studio behind #Padmavati, has voluntarily deferred the release date of the film from 1 December 2017… We will announce the revised release date of the film in due course: Official statement.”

Recently, we have seen that Padmavati movie has faced wrath from many political groups and people. Even, Censor Board didn’t accept the proposal of the makers to certify this movie, as it was incomplete. So, all these situations have made this film to postponed its release date. Now, an official date has been announced yet, so this film might be released anytime.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this film stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in key roles.
