Padman Early Collection Trends And Morning Audience Occupancy Day 1

Padman has released today globally in 3350 screens worldwide, out of which 2750 screens in India. It is a film based on the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, who started low-cost sanitary napkins for Village women in Bengaluru. Though this film is set in Madhya Pradesh, but it effectively talks about the grave concern of women’s menstrual hygiene.

Akshay Kumar starring film has received tremendous response across the world. The average rating by Bollywood Critics is around 3.5 stars. It is being made with a budget of less than 35 crores and it is being produced by Twinkle Khanna.

The morning audience occupancy of Padman is 30 percent in India. That is a good occupancy according to day 1. This film easily lures the audience in the afternoon, evening and night shows. The word of mouth publicity of this film is great and that will help this film in a long-run.

Directed by R Balki, this film also stars Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo role. Unfortunately, this film wasn’t being released in neighboring country Pakistan, due to its subject. Well, it is one of the biggest ever release of Akshay Kumar, releasing in over 50 countries. It is also the first Indian film to release in Russia on the same day, i.e; February 9, 2018.

Altogether, Padman will surely earn double digits at the end of the day.
