Padmaavat is one of the biggest Bollywood release, which is being distributed overseas by Paramount Pictures. Incredibly, Padmaavat has got enough collection on the first day in Australia, that it has actually shattered the day 1 records of Dangal and Baahubali 2.

Dangal has collected 1.26 crores ($247k dollars) and Baahubali 2 has collected 1.08 crores ($212k dollars) on the first day in Australia. Interestingly, Padmaavat has collected 1.82 crores ($367k dollars) in Austraila. In this way, Padmaavat collection is more than the two other biggest releases on India.

As per the latest reports, Padmaavat has collected over 12 crores in the overseas market on the day 1. In India, Padmaavat has collected 18 crores on the day 1. If we add the paid previews collection on the first day total than the total is 23 crores.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmaavat made with a budget of 200 crores. So, it is must for a film for a scale like this to do maximum collections on a worldwide scale. It is one of the best films of SLB but not as great as Bajirao Mastani. The soul is missing in this film, which was evident in Bajirao Mastani. This film stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in key roles.

Altogether, Padmaavat has broken the biggest records of Bollywood in Australia.
