After a long straining wait for makers, OMG 2 movie has been passed by Indian Censor Board with “A” rated certificate, which means it is a film for adults only. That simply means only 18+ aged people can watch this film on big screens.

Earlier, it has been heard that Censor Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) team didn’t the film and send it to revising committee who has given 20+ cuts order to the makers for the film. It is also being said that the makers were not happy with the conditions and they are ready to face the heat.

Well, things right now is pretty clear and the makers seems to be agree with some of the conditions by the CBFC. As, Censor Board has allotted Adult rating to this film with a runtime of around 2 hours 36 minutes and 10 seconds.

A day before, Censor Board has passed OMG 2 trailer with UA rating and a runtime of around 3 minutes 9 seconds. It is being said that the topic of this film is on Sex education which might not liked by many and might be in controversy like Adipurush (2023). That’s the reason why Censor Board took so much time to give it a certificate for this film.

Recently, there are even rumours that, OMG 2 might not release on August 11, 2023 due to its Certificate issue. Now, the film has only 10 days time for promotion and even the trailer is yet to release. So, it would be interesting to see whether the film comes very much on the given date or might be pushed to a week or two.

This is not the first time, Akshay Kumar has faced the wrath, earlier Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996) movie also received “A” certificate by CBFC.

Directed and written by Amit Rai. This film stars Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva, Pankaj Tripathi as Kanti Sharan Mudgal and Yami Gautam as Kamini Maheshwari in titular roles.
