Muddy movie is a pan-India film which has released in theaters on December 10, 2021 in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, English and Hindi language. Muddy movie has later released on OTT platform Amazon Prime on December 31, 2021. The screen time of this first Indian film based on off-road mud race is around 2 hours 7 minutes.
Story: The story of this film revolves around an off-road race track which has its history in Kerala. As per the story Yuvan Krishna aka Muthu and Ridhaan Krishna aka Karthik are cousins. They had some issues since the childhood and that’s why they don’t talk each other. Well, the story here is Karthik had beaten an evil guy Tony in one of the mud race and even broken his leg. Now, Tony is back with his gang to take revenge with Karthik. But the twist in the tale is, Muthu comes to rescue Karthik at the right time. Now, Tony and Karthik wants a final race for their prestige and revenge. What happens next falls the rest of the story.
This movie also stars Anusha Suresh, Amit Sivadas Nair, Harish Peradi, I M Vijayan, Renji Panicker, Shobha Mohan and many others in key roles.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is very simple and it has only few twists in the middle. The screenplay is not up to the mark as it is too slow to reach to the main story. The film only ignites from the interval and the second half is what will make you excite. Talking about acting, none of the actors has able to impress. Only rage and roar is what we hear from the main characters. The visuals is something that is breathtaking in this film and all marks to the cinematographer. The editing and music are the soul of this flat faced mud race film. The locations are really good looking but scary as well. The makers have given their best shot in terms of technical aspect of this film and that’s what makes this film a watchable one. The director has given us something new to the platter which is why this film looks refreshing. The whole cast and crew has managed to make a decent yet unique mud-race film which the audience will remember for few months at least. The production value is good and all the shots were rich. The whole mud race in the second half is the best sequence of this film. Such films are hard to make and even financed. Thanks to the director for bringing something new for the hungry audience. The minus point are the acting, story and its slow pace which spoils the mood to some extent. This film is technically perfect but emotionally weak.

Altogether, Muddy movie is a one time watch and that too if you like race movies and beautiful landscapes.
