Arjun Kapoor starring Mubarakan is out and out a comedy entertainer film of the year. This film has been made in a best possible way to attract all sorts of the audience to witness the epic laughter ride. Despite getting some favorable reviews, the collection on the first day is below as per the expectation.

Made on a whopping budget of 70 crores, in which 55 crores was spent in making the film and 15 crores in promotions. The film got a screen count of 2350 in India and 475 screens in the overseas market. In spite of such a good screen count, the film fails to lure audience on the first day. The first day earning of Mubarakan is being estimated as 5 crores.
The first-day occupancy of Mubarakan was just 30 percent and it is expected to grow by another 20 percent on the Day 2. Due to strong word of a mouth publicity, the film will certainly attract the audience on the second day and third day.
Directed by Anees Bazee, who has earlier helmed No Entry and Welcome, has done a phenomenal directing for this film. He certainly is a genius when it comes to delivering a comedy film.
Now the only question remains here, will it cross its own budget 70 crores at the Box Office. The answer seems blur as it has only one week to do good business as the next week it will face Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starring film Jab Harry Met Sejal.
Helmed by Anees Bazmeem the film stars Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty in titular roles. Even Ratna Pathak and Pawan Malhotra have given mindblowing performances.
Altogether, Mubarakan will find a family audiene throught out this week and there are chances that it will easily cross 70 crores mark in its lifetime run.
