Akshay Kumar has a very rough start of this year with Selfiee movie which didn’t lasted even 20 crores lifetime. Well, he took a break and come up with OMG 2 after almost 6 months that too with a clash. The surprising factor here is, OMG 2 worked well and turned out to be a hit film as per makers.

Last week, we see an untimely delay of Prabhas starrer Salaar movie from September 28 and going for some other release date in November 2023 as per reports. This led Bollywood to occupy the release date, which is also a festive one. So, first Fukrey 3 makers preponed their release date from December to September 28 and now Akshay Kumar occupy another good date which is October 6 for the release of his next and third film of 2023. Interestingly, he is releasing Mission Raniganj with in two months of his previous release OMG 2.

Akshay Kumar took to social media and wrote, “In 1989, one man achieved the impossible! Watch the story of Bharat’s true hero with #MissionRaniganj in cinemas on 6th October. Teaser out tomorrow!”

That simply means that Akshay Kumar will have a good run at the box office as there is no big films releasing pre and post October 6. This particular film is being directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. It have been produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani and Ajay Kapoor. After a long time, we see Parineeti Chopra working with Akshay. The last time, we saw them together in Kesari in 2019.
