I just watched both Mission Mangal and Batla House in Mumbai and I have seen over 60 percent audience occupancy in the particular theater. Well, taking about in a whole, both the movies are brilliantly made and deserves a longer run at the box office.
Talking about morning audience Occupancy, Mission Mangal has opened with 55 to 60 percent and Batla House opened around 45 to 50 percent.
The word of mouth will play a crucial role for both these movies. I feel, both the movies deserves to be in the 100 crores club. As far as my concern, word of mouth of both the films is highly positive and audience will definitely give it a shot in theaters.
Talking about my collection prediction for the day, I am expecting 27 to 29 crores for Mission Mangal and 13 to 15 crores for Batla House. I think Mission Mangal would have got around 2800 to 3000 screens and Batla House would have got 1800 to 2000 screens.
Last year, John Abraham has won the clash with Akshay Kumar when their films Gold and Satyameva Jayate released on Independence day. This year too, there will be a tough clash between two movies and it would be interesting thing to see which movie earns bigger share at the box office.
