Mismatched Webseries Review, Box Office Result, Hit Or Flop On OTT?

Mismatched is the latest webseries released on Netflix OTT platform on November 20, 2020. There are a total of 6 episodes with a screentime of around 3 hours 15 minutes. This film is based on the novel When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon.

The story of this webseries is revolved around Rohit Saraf aka Rishi and Prajakta Koli aka Dimple. Rohit is like a old school guy who believe in the 60s romance, whereas Dimple is a notorious quirky girl who wants to be an app developer. Rishi saw a picture of Dimple and decides that she will be his future wife. To impress her, Rishi also joins the 3 months course in Jaipur, after he got to know that Dimple is also doing the same course. Will, Rishi able to impress Dimple in college or not is what you need to watch.

Mismatched story has been written by Gazal Dhaliwal who wrote this series in such a way that it will connect to the youth instantly. This film has been directed by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikari. It is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala. This series also stars Rannvijay Singha, Vihaan Samat, Devyani Shorey, and Vidya Malavade in important roles.

This webseries is interesting and it would be loved by youth in a big way. We all know Prajakta Koli from Mostly Sane, who gave an insane and thrilling performance here. She is the highlight of the series and even heartbeat.

The early reviews of Mismatched is out now and critics rated it in a range of 3 to 3.5 stars out of 5. The budget of the webseries hasn’t been revealed yet but it would reportedly be over 6 to 8 crore range.

This series will remind you of Student Of The Year, Main Hoon Na and other college based movies of Bollywood. This webseries will certainly be a big hit among the audience. The makers did make sure to highlight the problems of youth in this series, which was really important.

Altogether, Mismatched is one of those webseries that will find a connect to the youth of India. You can call Mismatched as the webseries version of the Student Of The Year 2. The only unique thing is, here they play a virtual game rather than sports. A series that you can binge watch with your college friends.
