OTT platform Zee5, who released London Confidential in September 2020, has now released Lahore Confidential on February 4, 2021. The screentime of this film is around 68 minutes.

The story of this film revolves around Richa Chaddha aka Ananya who is an Indian spy sent to Pakistan to befriend Arunoday Singh aka Rauf aka James Spencer aka Waseem Ahmed Khan (Pakistani national and event organiser) to make him work for India against terrorism. It is not just a war film between India and Pakistan but rather a romantic take of an Indian girl and Pakistani man. Will they able to marry or Ananya just use him to help India fight against terrorism in Pakistan, is what you have to watch.
The early reviews of Lahore Confidential is out and they are in a range of 2 to 2.5 stars out of 5. It currently holds 4.7 stars ratings out of 10 on IMDB.
This film has been written by Vibha Singh and Hussain Zaidi. It has been directed by Kunal Kohli. The cinematography work has been done by Karthik Ganesh. This film has been edited by Nikhil Parihar. The musical score has been done by Shreyas Srinivas. This film also stars Karishma Tanna aka Yukti, Nikhat Khan, Khalid Siddiqui and many others.
The budget of Lahore Confidential hasn’t been revealed yet but it would reportedly be in 4-6 crores range.
Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story has been written brilliantly by the writers. The romantic conversations between Ananya and Rauf are the highlight of this film. I feel Kunal Kohli did a decent job in directing this film. I feel the screentime is so less that it is hard to get connected with the characters or its story. Still, a great attempt in this limited time by the director. All, I can say I am impressed.
Altogether, Lahore Confidential is a one time watch film but a good one.
