Kesari movie has released today worldwide in 4200 screens, out of which 3600 screens belongs to India. This is a great screen count and the good news here is audience is loving the film.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the film has opened with 29 to 30 percent audience occupancy in the morning shows. The afternoon audience occupancy was around 65 percent, followed by evening occupancy of 80 percent. The night audience occupancy is not reported yet but it would be very similar to evening one. The overall Kesari average occupancy of the day will be around 65 percent.

Before the release of Kesari, a special screening has been thrown for film critics, where this film have received around 3.5 Stars average ratings. After the release of Kesari, even audience loved the film and gave good reviews to it.

Starting Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra and many others, Kesari movie has able to evoke the feeling of patriotism from this film. The film is based on The Battle Of Saragarhi where 21 Sikh Soldiers from India under British army fights against 10000 Afghans in 1897.

By looking at the current trend for the 1st day, Kesari movie to rake around 18 to 19 crores nett.
