Story: This film revolves around Alia Bhatt aka Satya Anand who is shocked to know that his brother Vedang Raina aka Ankur Anand has been arrested for narcotics in overseas country Singapore. Though, Ankur has been wrongly implicated but now he is about to be electrocuted in 3 months for the crime he accepted. So as a sister, Satya wants to save his brother with few men by doing jail break at any cost. Will, Satya able to save Ankur is what this story is all about.

This film also stars Manoj Pahwa, Rahul Ravindran, Sobhita Dhulipala and many others in key roles.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story of this film is interesting and something new from Bollywood. This is a multiplex kind of cinema and common Indian masses might not like this film. I enjoyed this film because it is apt to the point and slick. The writing is good and the screenplay justified it. Family audience might not like this but the youth should watch this film as it is new and exciting. The cinematography is just decent but I really liked the background score for this film. The best thing about this film is how the director and actors have given tribute to Angry Man characters of Amitabh Bachchan. The style of filmmaking by Vasan is new and it will definitely connect to the college goers. Talking about performances, Alia Bhatt again stole the show along with Manoj Pahwa. The production value is good and the real jail location makes the movie more realistic. This is a crazy kind of cinema and you never know what’s coming up next. This is a serious film but there are instances that make you laugh to some extent. The only suggestion I feel to give to the director is to chop the film to another 20 minutes to make it more crispy.

This film has been co-written and directed by Vasan Bala. It has also been co-written by Debashish Irengbam. It have been produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Saumen Mishra. The cinematography has been done by Swapnil Sonawane and editing taken care by Prerna Saigal. The background score has been given by Achint Thakkar.

Altogether, I enjoyed this film and it is surely a one time to watch for youth. Films on brother-sister relationship is almost none and this is where this film stands out. Still, the film looks too alien to digest.

Last Word: Watch it for Alia Bhatt and Vasan Bala direction. Not for masses but definitely a multiplexes audience film.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: Jigra Review- 2.5 stars out of 5.
