Bollywood new beauty queen Janhvi Kapoor is all set to strike the right cord with the audience with his new film Gunjan Saxena biopic. Earlier, Gunjan Saxena biopic was about to hit the screens on April 24, 2020 but due to lockdown, the film will now directly hit the online platfrom Netflix.

In July 20, 2018, Janhvi Kapoor debuted with Dhadak movie in the film industry, the same year her mother Sridevi passed away. The film was an official remake of Sairaat but it didn’t worked out at all. After 2 years, Janhvi is back with her second film and that too a biopic. Now, it’s a do or die situation for her the actress, as she need to prove her talent as an actress. Though, she surprised us in her short appearance in Ghost Stories on Netflix and we must hope the same again.

Talking about Gunjan Saxena in real, she was an Air India Pilot who was one of the few to be on the ground zero in Kargil war against Pakistan. She along with Srividya Rajan had played a crucial role in the Kargil war in 1999. Gunjan Saxena took part in the operation Vijay of the Kargil War.

Janhvi Kapoor has gained 10 kg weight to be in this role and we are excited the film to release as soon as possible on Netflix. The date of Gunjan Saxena biopic hasn’t been announced yet but it would be by the end of June month or the start of July 2020.

Apart from Gunjan Saxena biopic, Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in movies like Roohi Afzana with Rajkummar Rao and Dostana 2 with Kartik Aaryan. Gunjan Saxena movie directed by Sharan Sharma and it also started Pankaj Tripathi, Manav Vij, Vineet Kumar Singh and many others.
