Ranbir Kapoor’s phenomenal performance in Jagga Jasoos couldn’t able to save the sinking ship. Here I mean, inspite of such a valiant efforts in performance, the movie is being tagged as a box office disaster. At the latest, the first week collection of the movie is out now.

First we talk about Jagga Jasoos collection in India, it has started with a decent earning on Friday with a collection of 8.57 crores. Day 2 saw an increase in the collection, where Jagga Jasoos has collected 11.53 crores, Sunday – 13.07 crores. In the first weekend itself Jagga Jasoos has managed to cross 30 crores mark. But things were really sad on the weekdays, on Monday – 4.05 crores, Tuesday – 3.48 crores, Wednesday – 3.05 crores, Thursday – 2.54 crores. It has taken the total to 4.29 crores.

In Pakistan, the film has able to collect 74 lakhs on the first day and with that it has also broken the record of Baahubali 2, which has collected just 69 lakh on the Day 1. Ranbir and Katrina Kaif starring movie has collected 3.24 crores in one week, which is pretty decent.

The movie was being made on a whopping 100 crores budget, which is why it is failed at the box office. The movie was released in 2500 screens worldwide, out of which 1800 screens were reserved in India.

Directed by Anurag Basu, this musical-drama has really touched the film critics heart but it didn’t able to garner audience to the cinema halls in a big way.

Altogether, the lifetime collection of the film will be somewhere around 55 crores in India.
