Ranbir Kapoor’s quirky musical-drama Jagga Jasoos has failed the Monday’s litmus test as it has seen a huge drop in the collections. At the latest, Jagga Jasoos day 4 collections are out now and it gives us a clear sign that Ranbir’s film will be a super flop.

In terms of collections, Jagga Jasoos has failed miserably on the First Monday which is always a testing point for all the Bollywood movie. On Friday it collected 8.57 crores, Saturday – 11.53 crores, Sunday – 13.17 crores and on Monday it has only earned 4.05 crores. This clearly tells the clear picture that it has been one of those movies which will face a huge loss in 2017. Just like Sushant Singh Rajput’s Raabta and Shahid Kapoor’s Rangoon, this film also follows the same line of flop show.

Though, Katrina Kaif starrer film has been critically appraised but that’s not denying the fact that it will never recover its cost. Released in over 2500 screens across the world. It has collected nearly $ 1.5 million (9.64 crores) from overseas market till now. In India, it was released in over 1800 screens and made a total of 37.22 crores.
Interestingly, Jagga Jasoos has beaten the lifetime collection of Naam Shabana which was 36.50 crores. And with this, Jagga Jasoos has now become the 10th highest grossing movie of Bollywood in 2017.

Directed by Anurag Basu, the film also stars Saurabh Shukla and Saswata Chatterjee in key roles. The making budget of the movie is 100 crores and it would hardly recover 60 crores at the Box Office.

Altogether, in spite of being such a good movie it fails to recover its heavy cost due to number of delays over the years.
