Starcast: Akshay Kumar, Johny Lever, Chunky Pandey, Bobby Deol, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde
Runtime: 2 hours 26 mins
Story And Dialogues: The film has some sensical and some non-sensical dialogues. But overall, it will make you laugh in a big way. The most comedy moments come from Akshay Kumar, followed by Ritiesh Deshmukh and Bobby Deol. There are many one liners dialogues that will make you laugh. This re-incarnation drama of the year 1419 to 2019 theme have worked out well in this film.
Akshay Kumar as Harry and Bala have nailed it in this comedy film. I personally loved Akshay’s performance. Even, Ritiesh Deshmukh as Bangdu Maharaj and Roy have worked well in this film. Bobby Deol looks promising in this movie and he is the new entrant in this franchise. Johny Lever, Chunky Pandey and veteran actor Ranjeet have able to make us laugh.
The budget of this film is around 170 crores and a big amount has been spent in set production and costumes. As it is a reincarnation comedy, so most of the money has been spent in set design and in VFX. Yes, you read it right, there are many VFX scenes in this film which looks promising in this film and a big money has been spent in post production.
Music, Cinematography And Editing:
The background throughout the movie is extremely good and promising. I personally loved Chammo, Bala and Bhoot Raja song in theaters. The Cinematography of this film will remind you of the Baahubali series, especially the huge sets, heavy VFX, waterfall, palaces and costumes. The editing of this film is amazing, and it will not make you bore at all.
Direction: There are two directors in this film- Farhad Samji who directed historic era of this film which is showed in first half and the London based current story theme of the film has been directed by Sajid Khan. But, as we know the production house credited only Farhad Samji as a director in the film. Sajid Khan name has not been used for a director due to me too allegations against him. I personally think the historic version in the first half has made me more happy as compare to the second half of the current generation. I personally feel this film is a tribute to Baahubali series in a comedy way.
