Hindi Medium was released on May 19, 2017, and has earned 69 crores in a lifetime. Interestingly, it was being made with less than 20 crores budget and still, it worked well in the theaters for few weeks. The best thing about this movie was its universal story, which has actually connected with the audience.

Well, Fukrey Returns has collected 68.36 crores in 11 days and it will break Hindi Medium collection record by the 12th day. Directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, Fukrey Returns was being made on a modest budget of 30 crores. Just like Hindi Medium, this film also had a good story, which worked wonders for the audience. Small films like Fukrey Returns, Hindi Medium, Newton or Lipstick Under My Burkha has proved this year that content is a real king behind any film.

Altogether, Fukrey Returns will easily break Hindi Medium lifetime record by second week’s Tuesday.
