Filmmaker Nishikant Kamat Passes Away At Aged 50

Nishikant Kamat who debuted in Marathi film Industry with Dombivli Fast movie in 2005 is no more. He has passed on August 17 due to cirrhosis of liver issue. He was hospitalised few days back and his condition remained critical. He was suffering from this disease for the last two years.

He is known to directing films like Mumbai Meri Jaan, Rocky Handsome, Madaari and Drishyam in Bollywood. Apart from that he also acted in movies like Saatchya Aat Gharat, Rocky Handsome, Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, Julie 2 and Fugay.

Born in Mumbai, Nishikant studied in Mumbai and he rose to prominence in the amateur theatre circuit during his studies in Ramnarain Ruia college.

As per medical bulletin from AIG hospital Hyderabad, Nishikant Kamat took his last breath at around 16:24 hours on August 17.

He will always be known for both directing and acting in Bollywood movies.
