Bollywood director and producer Karan Johar is known for launching star Kids in Bollywood. And now, he is back again to launch the career of two new star kids in B-Town, Sridevi’s daughter Jahnvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter.

In 2012, Karan Johar has launched three-star kids in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan with Student Of The Year film. All these three actors are now doing amazing films in Bollywood. And now, he has launched these two new faces with his upcoming film Dhadak. Dhadak is a film which is based on Marathi cult hit Sairat, which released in 2016.

Talking about Ishaan Khatter, he has already worked in Beyond the Clouds movie, directed by Majid Majidi. The remaining star cast is yet to be unveiled. The budget of this film is not yet finalized but it won’t be less than 40 crores.

In 2016 itself, Karan Johar has brought the Hindi remake rights of this film and now it will soon be on the floors. The story of this film revolves around two main leads, who fall in love with each other, but the society never accepts them. It is a dark tale and well portrayed in a Marathi film Sairat. We have big expectations from this Hindi film Dhadak, which is its official remake.
Directed by Badrinath Ki Dulhania fame Shashank Khaitan, this film is all set to hit the theaters on July 6, 2018. It will be produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios.
