Coolie The Powerhouse is the latest Tamil film which has released across India on August 14, 2025. Coolie Hindi version runtime is around 2 hours 49 minutes. This film has been rated A rating by Indian Censor Board.
Story: The story of this film revolves around Rajinikanth whose friend Sathyaraj has been killed by someone. Inorder to find the culprit, Rajinikanth met his friend’s daughter and triesbto find out who is the killer. For that reason, he also joins Nagarjuna aka Simon’s gang. Another, interesting character of this film is Shoubin Shahir who works under Simon but has some evil intentions. So there are many things in this film which you must watch in theaters only.
This film also stars Aamir Khan aka Dahaa, Upendra, Pooja Hegde and many others.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: Coolie movie has a good story but weak screenplay to some extent. There are several clapworthy twists which is great to watch on big screens. The background music is superb which elevates the movie to next level. The dubbing in Hindi is decent and it works for me. Touted to the weakest Lokesh film but still it worked to some level. The cinematography and slow motion shots are the beauty here. The action scenes are great which are nicely executed. My favorite scene comes in the second half when the fight sequence choreographed by Gulzar Song Chapa Chapa Charkha Chale. The production value is good. It is not like Vikram for sure but still it will work in theaters to some extent. There are few cameos in this film which will be liked by masses. This film could have been much better and gripping. The editing work is decent.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagraj, and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The cinematography has been done by Girish Gangadharan and editing work done by Philomin Raj. The musical score has been done by Anirudh Ravichander.
Coolie movie budget is reportedly around 350 crores nett maximum.
Altogether, Coolie movie is one time watch for audience. The cameos are good but the main highlight of this film taken away by Shoubin Shahir.
