One of the talented comedians in India is Kapil Sharma, who will next be seen in Firangi movie. He is currently busy in the promotions of his second film, which is slated for release on December 1. At the latest, he wishes to sing for A.R. Rahman.

We know, apart from his comedy sense, he is also a good singer. He knows the rhythm and music, just like every other singer. In an interview to IANS, Kapil reveals about his wishes to sing, he said, “I love singing. In fact, I sang as a playback singer in ‘Love Punjab’. As I am a huge Rahman fan and dreamed to work with him when sir came on my show I sang a song in front of him. He asked me if I am interested in singing. He said he liked my singing and some day, he will make me sing.”

He also added, “I love Punjabi folk songs. That is a treasure which should be explored more. I know that Punjabi songs are very popular worldwide but the folk genre is still unexplored, especially the kind of songs I have grown up with.”

Directed by Rajiv Dhingra, Firangi movie also stars Ishita Dutta in a key role. This film is being produced by Kapil Sharma himself and slated for December 1, 2017, release.
