Chup movie is the latest Hindi film which has officially released in cinema theaters on September 23, 2022 on Cinema Day where ticket price is just Rs. 75. This film has been certified with A Ratings by Indian Censor Board. The screentime of this film is around 2 hours 16 minutes.
Story: The story of this film stars Sunny Deol aka Arvind Mathur who is a police inspector. On the other hand, Dulquer Salmaan aka Danny is a flower seller and Shreya Dhanwanthary aka Nila, who is a film journalist. Pooja Bhatt aka Zenobia Shroff who is a psychologist. Well, Arvind Mathur has got a case where a psychopath use to kill film critics one after another. So, there is pressure on Arvind to solve this case. Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story is the king of this movie and so thus the performances. Well, this film is a pure tribute to legend filmmaker Guru Dutt. Talking about the performances, Sunny Deol, Shreya, Dulquer and even Pooja Bhatt shine. The director R Balki shine in this film from start to end. The screenplay goes smooth and there are hardly any scenes that let you bored. Except one or two scenes in the second half, rest whole movie is on point. Good to see such a crisp serial killer based film after a long time with a old school charm. The music is good along with the editing. There is no proper song in this movie, as all the songs are retro Indian Cinema song used in this film. This film is for all kind of masses who want to see interesting and unique films. Dulquer and Sunny have stole the show in this movie. The cinematography is brilliant and it shows Mumbai as it is. There are lot of twist in this film and a worth watch for cinema fans.

Chup movie budget hasn’t been revealed vealed but it could reportedly be around 20 to 22 crores maximum.
Altogether, Chup is one of those film which is experimental, thriller and nostalgic at the same time. It is a tribute to Late Indian filmmaker Guru Dutt.
