Brahmastra movie has officially released in cinema theaters on September 9, 2022. The first day has seen one of the best non-holiday openings for an outright Hindi film. Now, all eyes are focused on the second day collections as the film has opened with mixed reviews from film critics.

As per the early reports, Brahmastra movie has been released in 5019 plus screens in India. Now, the first day has opened well both in North and South India. The first day collections is around 36 crores nett as per early estimates. This film has grosses around 43 crores in India. In overseas market, Brahmastra has earned around 24 to 25 crores gross on day 1 in 3894 screens. In terms of Worldwide, Brahmastra has collected around 67 to 68 crores gross, which is a superb figures. This first day collections also include 8-9 crores collections from South India as well. This film has performed extremely well in Hyderabad and Chennai which is like a dream come true for a Hindi film.

Brahmastra movie has a strong chance to collect around 30 to 32 crores on day 2 In India. As the advance booking of Day 2 is around 18 crores plus. Though, there is Saturday which is almost like a holiday and tomorrow will be Sunday. This factor will make sure that Brahmastra gets solid collection on day 2 as well. This film could even cross 35 crores plus as family audience and kids are accepting the film.

Altogether, Brahmastra is one of its own kind of film and it is connecting to the Indian audience just like Hollywood based Marvel or DC movies. There are few drawbacks too with this film but that could be passable for a common audience.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, this film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagarjuna and many others in key roles.
