Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Brahmastra has received lot of love and warmth from the audience. Despite mixed reviews from several media film critics and youtubers, this film has find its audience throughout the first weekend of 3 days.
Brahmastra has been released in 5019 screens on September 9 and did some phenomenal collections despite any big holidays. On day 1, it has raked around 37 crores, followed by 42 crores on day 2 and around 44 crores on day 3, which takes the overall three days total to 123 crores nett.
Well, today is Monday and we call it the Monday Test, where the actual potential of a movie has been tested. As, public do come on weekdays but from Monday film either washed out or get success it depends on the public. So, if public do come on a big working day like Monday in cinema theaters than there is a chance that Brahmastra will be a big hit. The good thing here is, the advance booking of IMAX 3D and 3D versions are pretty good especially from the evening. That also means that Brahmastra has a strong chance to score big on day 4 as well.
As per the current trend and lower ticket price on Monday, Brahmastra has a good chance to earn around 19 to 21 crores on day 4 (Monday) as well. If this film achieves this feat than there is no looking back at all. The youth is liking this film and even the family audience is coming to see this film. That’s enough for a film to score big in Indian market.
Well, 410 crores budget of Brahmastra is still far away to be achieved but there are big hope that this film will break even in this scenario as well. The South market has contributed this film in a good way from Hyderabad to Chennai, which also add good numbers to the overall total. In overseas market, Brahmastra also shining and there are reports which claim that this film has easily crossed USD 6.5 million -50 crores in first weekend. Though official collections is yet to get updated both in India and overseas market. In overseas, Brahmastra has release in 3894 screens biggest of all for any Indian film.
Altogether, Brahmastra is one of those film that literally pull Bollywood back on tracks despite Bycott Bollywood trend and negativity from last 2 years.
