Bombhaat is the latest Telugu film that has officially released on Amazon Prime on December 3, 2020. The screentime of Bombhaat is around 2 hours 12 minutes, which was perfect for this sci-fi film.

The story of Bombhaat is like, Sai Sushanth Reddy is a guy who is always unlucky since his birth. Even, his parents blame him for all the misfortune. He grew up and falls in love to a girl but thinks that his unluck will again destroy his love life too. Well, this is not a typical romance drama, the twist here is there is a humanoid name Simran Choudary aka Maya who comes in the life of the hero. Now there is love triangle, will the hero able to impress his love Chandini Chowdary or will Maya able to get the hero’s attention is what you must see.

This sci-fi romantic drama looks cool in bits and parts, but still it didn’t give the kind of thrill we were expecting. The direction is decent but still this movie is not good enough to hold your complete attention for the long 2 hours 12 minutes. On the other hand, we still need to applause the theme of this film, as it is hard to make sci-fi film with limited budget.

The early reviews of this film is out now and it is in the range of 1.5 to 2 stars out of 5. This movie has got 75 percent likes from Google users.

Directed by Raghavendra Varma, this film has been produced by Vishwas Hannurkar. It has been written by Akshay Poolla. The music has been composed by Josh B and cinematography done by Mentem Satheesh.

The budget of this movie hasn’t been revealed yet but it would reportedly be over 8 to 10 crores, due to VFX scenes.

My best scene: There is a fight sequence in the mid of the movie where Maya can been seen fighting to goons singlehandedly. It has been shot very well and it literally gives a goosebumps.

Performances: I think Simran did gave an impressive performance along with Makarand Deshpande and Vineet Kumar.

Altogether, a film that didn’t give you much to digest but still you can watch as it is a SciFi romantic drama.

Last word: Watch it only because is a SciFi film rest there is nothing new to the platter for audience.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: Bombhatt Review- Average (50 percent out of 100).
