Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The story of this movie is well written and every scene has a patent Priyadarshan style of filmmaking. The dialogues are also decent and funny at times. The first half is good and has decent amount of laughter in it whereas the second half is more intense and scary. There are several twist in this film which unviels as the story progresses. The film seems abit slow in the second half still it is an interesting to watch. The story presentation is ok but it could have been better. The first half will be liked by kids but the second half they may not. The cinematography is ok but it could have been much better. The second half is where the film looses it’s momentum to some extent. The production value is good and all scenes look believable. The editing could have been more crispier and the film length could have been easily trimmed to 15 more minutes. The climax is ok and it could have been much better. Priyadarshan sir has given several gems over the years and again he delivered a good film for the masses. Talking about performance, I missed Asrani in a big way. Akshay’s character was good in first half but lethargic to some extent in second half.
Screenplay and direction done by Priyadarshan. The story has been written by Aakash Kaushik. This movie have been produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. The cinematography has been done by Divakar Mani and editing done by M S Aiyappan Nair. The background score given by Ronnie Raphael.
Altogether, Bhooth Bangla is a one time watch film for masses.
Last Word: Watch for Rajpal Yadav, Asrani and Akshay Kumar. Tabu got wasted.
