Netflix latest release Bad Boy Billionaires India has hit the OTT platform on October 5, 2020. This documentary was of almost 3 hours long featuring Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi and Subrata Roy.
This documentary talks about India’s biggest ever corruption and frauds every happened. How Vijay Mallya did a fraud of 5300 crores with the help of an Indian Bank. In the same case, Nirav Modi has done a fraud of over 11000 crores. Well, the biggest ever reportedly fraud done by Subrato Roy, where court asked him to return investors 20000 crores plus rupees.
Many called this webseries a half baked cake some have even lauded it. Interestingly, it was a four episode documentary but the makers have released only three. The fourth documentary under this series was of Ramalinga Raju who is also known for his Satyam fraud. Due to legal hassle, the fourth documentary didn’t made it to release.
Altogether, Bad Boy Billionaires India is a must watch documentary series that you must watch. It will open your eyes about the biggest ever names that did the biggest ever scams in India.
Normally, a common man didn’t have a time to read and understand such kind of scams but they must be aware off by watching such documentaries. Its a bold documentary that will hit you hard. I personally liked the Subrato Roy documentary as compared to the other two. One thing is pretty common in all three, they tried to keep the law in their pocket but instead they made it into jail.
The budget of Bad Boy Billionaires India hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it would be reportedly around 12 to 15 crores minimum.
This documentary originally released in English but badly dubbed in Hindi. They must make sure that the Hindi dubbing should be perfect or the audience loses its interest quickly. This series has received good ratings from websites in a range of 3 to 3.5 stars. IMDB rated it 8 out of 10.
