Avengers: Infinity War movie has witnessed a record-breaking opening on the first day in India. It got released in 4 different languages and has earned over 40 crores gross collection.
It has opened with 80 percent audience occupancy in the morning shows on day 1. It got around 2100 screens and received 75 percent occupancy in afternoon. The evening audience occupancy was 70 percent, followed by 80 percent audience occupancy in the night shows. In this way, the average audience occupancy for the first day was 75 percent.

Marvel Studios’s Avengers: Infinity War film has collected 31.30 crores nett collection in India and 40.13 crores gross earning. Interestingly, this film has collected $ 39 million – 259 crores in North America in the Thursday pre-sales. It is the fourth highest all-time paid previews record in the domestic market. As per the reports, this film has collected $ 200 million – 1332 crores worldwide. It includes, North America – $105 million – 699 crores, International – $95 million – 632 crores in two days (April 25-26).
In India, this is the biggest opening for any Hollywood film ever in India, the last record was held by Fast And Furious 7 around 12 crores. This film has broken that record with a big margin. Directed by Russo brothers, this film stars over 22 superheroes against Thanos, the main antagonist.
Well, everyone is asking about, will this film beat Avatar lifetime collection of 2.75 billion – 18320 crores? It is a difficult task but yes, this film will cross over 10000 crores worldwide after its opening in China from May 11, 2018.
