Atrangi Re is one of the most complex yet simple story which has attracted audience on OTT in a big way. Akshay Kumar starrer Atrangi Re was a direct to OTT release on December 24, 2021.
Atrangi Re movie was released online at around 12 am in both Hindi and Tamil versions. This film got good viewership across North and South India, thanks to the big actors like Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. Sara Ali Khan is the lead actress in this film and she do did a fabulous job as per performances.
Directed by Aanand L Rai, this film was earlier planned to release in February 2021 but due to Covid issues this film later released in OTT on December 24. This is second direct OTT release film for Akshay Kumar after Laxmii movie which released in November 2020.
Well, Atrangi Re movie has received mixed response from critics, some praised the film and some find it boring. Still, it has performed well on OTT platform which is amazing.
This is second film of Dhanush releasing on OTT this year after Jagame Thandhiram which was released on Netflix on June 18, 2021.
Akshay Kumar’s last film Laxmii even broken several records in 2020 and now Atrangi Re is all set to make new records.
