Few days back a report came in one of the leading newspapers about the Gaiety Galaxy Theatre employees and their financial issues. To which, Akshay Kumar contacted the owner of Gaiety Galaxy Theatre, Manoj Desai and offered him his support at this crucial situation.

As per a report of Hindustan Times, Manoj Desai said, “Three days ago, I got a call from Akshayji. He offered to provide financial assistance if the scenario continues. It was kind of him to offer help, but we should find a way to sustain ourselves. We have managed to collect enough funds to pay the salaries for this month, but the theatre shutdown will have long-term ramifications. Our focus is to ensure we don’t trim staff or resort to pay cuts.”

It is being heard that, the owner has took a loan to provide the salary of his employees of this month. He is still uncertain about the opening of the theaters again amidst this coronavirus issue. He even thinking to raise the ticket price in the theater once it get open.

Altogether, we could only hope that things get better for each and every individual in few weeks time.
