After the success of 2018 film Raid, the makers is planning to come up with its second part Raid 2. At the latest, one of the producers of Raid, Mr. Bhushan Kumar has divulged few important details about the second part.

In a latest chat with punemirror.indiatimes.com, Bhushan Kumar said, “It will be a huge multi-film franchise and Ajay ji and I, along with Kumar Mangat ji, are looking to take Raid
forward. The script of Part 2 is being developed. Since the original was a much loved film, the sequel is a huge responsibility. After the super success of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, there’s a lot of pressure on this collaboration to live up to the expactation. We have always aimed at creating high concept films.”

Talking about Raid movie, the film starred Ajay Devgn as an IRS officer Amay Patnaik who conducts a raid at a politician house in Lucknow. The film was loosely inspired by biggest raids conducted in India. The film also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in key roles. The film was both critically and commercially appreciated.

Altogether, we could hope that Raid 2 story gets completed in few months. If things will work accordingly than Ajay might start the shooting of this film in 2021. So far, Ajay has projects like Kaithi Hindi remake, Maidaan, Bhuj: The Pride Of India, RRR, Chanakya and many others.
