Choreographer Saroj Khan Died Of Cardiac Arrest At Age Of 72

Bollywood’s ace choreographer Saroj Khan has died of cardiac arrest in Mumbai on July 3, 2020.

She was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra on June 20 due to breathing issues. Earlier, it was reported that she is recovering and there is no such tension about her health. She took her last breath on Friday at 1.52 am. She had severe diabetes and illness. She tested negative for Coronavirus. 72-year-old Saroj Khan survived by her husband B. Sohanlal, son Hamid Khan and daughters Hina Khan and Sukyna Khan.

She first appeared as a background dancer at the age of 3 and her first big break was with Geeta Mera Naam in 1974. She has worked in Bollywood over four decades and was one of the biggest names in her field of choreography. She has taught dance to many big Bollywood actress like Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Sridevi and many others. Three time national award winner is famous for her dance numbers like Hawa Hawai from Mr India (1987), Ek Do Teen from Tezaab (1988), Dhak Dhak Karne Laga from Beta (1992) etc. She last choreographed Tabaah Ho Gaye song in Kalank movie picturized on Madhuri Dixit. So far she has choreographed over 2000 songs in Bollywood.

Saroj Khan’s last rights will took place on July 3 itself.
