Padman movie has completed the first day at the box office in a decent way. It didn’t get a big start at the box office in the morning shows but it shows a good response to the evening shows.

The morning shows audience occupancy was 25 to 30 percent. The afternoon shows audience occupancy was similar to the morning shows. The evening audience occupancy saw a good growth, where it received 50 percent audience occupancy. The night shows occupancy is still not confirmed but it looks very similar to the evening shows. The average audience occupancy was around 35 to 40 percent.

In such a scenario, Padman first day collection seems to be around 11 to 12 crores. It got released in over 2750 screens in India and 600 screens overseas. If we compare this film with Toilet Ek Prem Katha, it collected 13.10 crores on the first day. Though it had received over 3000 screens in India.

The word of mouth publicity of Padman is good so far and it received critical acclaim from UAE and Indian critics. This film will get a good response on the second and the third day due to great buzz. Altogether, Padman is a good entertainment film with a social story.
