Rajinikanth has completed 50 years in Indian film industry and the latest film of his is Coolie, which in Hindi titled as Coolie The Powerhouse. It is releasing in Hindi version in 1400 screens plus which is a great thing.
As, Coolie is dominated in South, War 2 has dominated or say it is so far survived in North belt. Here, I am going to talk to about Coolie The Powerhouse response and collection expectations for day 1. It is not too long back, when Robot 2.0 has collected 20.25 crores nett on day 1 in Hindi, all thanks to Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. Now, Coolie in Hindi has so far sold around 40K plus tickets and could be collecting in a range of 7 to 9 crores in normal situation. If the film work wonders, than sky will be the limit.
One important thing here is, Aamir Khan is appearing in this film too, which will also lure the audience to be in theaters in North India. Well, we all know, War 2 is going to be hard of Coolie in Hindi belt. Still, word of mouth will play a key role here for both the films.
Talking about overall response of Coolie, it has sold out shows in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam markets. It has released in India in 5500 screens plus for sure. It is also being noted that Coolie has so far grossed somewhere around 38 crores in India. The first day all India collections could be over 66 to 68 crores nett as per current trend.
