The first part of Meka Suri movie had released on July 31, 2020. Now, Meka Suri 2 has officially released on Zee5 OTT platform in Telugu language with English subtitles on November 27, 2020. The screentime of this movie is around 1 hour 20 minutes.

The first film in Meka Suri series, revolved around a butcher Abhinay aka Meka Suri, who married to Sumaya Syed aka Rani. A group of criminals killed his wife and that’s why Meka Suri started to kill the culprits one by one. The second film follows the same story which ended on a cliff hanger in the first part. Now, Meka Suri is in jail and still few of the culprits are roaming outside. Will Meka Suri kill all criminals behind his wife death is what you need to watch in the second film.
The story and characters of this film are real and gusty. This film also stars Naresh Byreddy, Sharat Kumar, Lirisha, Pramod, Sravan and many others. This film reminds of bloodsoaking Rakhta Charitra and its director Ram Gopal Varma. It seems like the director Trinadh Velisila has taken some lessons from him. Trinadh has also written the film. This movie has been produced by Karthik Kancherla. Two things that I loved in this film are, first the cinematography done by Pardhu Saina and its background music given by Saroja.
The budget of this film hasn’t been revealed by the makers but it would reportedly be over 3 to 4 crores easily.
Meka Suri is one of those films that will remind you of all the movies made by Ram Gopal Varma. The early reviews of this film hasn’t been out yet.
Altogether, it is crime thriller film which you can definitely watch at once for its story, performance and direction.
