Padmavati movie has been into controversy for last 1 year. But this film is facing a constant protest from last 3 weeks from across the states. Yesterday, Padmavati movie has been banned by not one but 5 states in India.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “We will not tolerate any distortion of historical facts.The entire country is speaking in one voice that historical facts were distorted (in the movie).”
So, as per the reports, Padmavati won’t be released in Madhya Pradesh even after Censor approve it. That’s not all, Even Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana states are in no mood to release this magnum opus Padmavati.
A few days earlier, Padmavati release was delayed and it won’t release on December 1, 2017. Now the question is even if it gets a new release date that will be able to recover its budget of 190 crores?
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, this film stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in key roles.
