5 Similarities Between Padmavati And Baahubali 2!

2017 is a year, where we have for the first time witnessed two 1000 crores earning movies Baahubali 2 and Dangal. Well, here I will talk about Baahubali 2 and Padmavati movie, especially their trailers. We have seen Baahubali 2 trailer in March 2017 and now Padmavati trailer has been released. If you take a look at both these movie trailers, you will find some basic similarities, which I will reveal in this article.

5 Similarities In Baahubali 2 And Padmavati:

1. Love Triangle
In Baahubali 2, we have seen Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati) falls in love for Anushka Shetty (Devasena) and wants to marry her. But, Devesana loves Baahubali (Prabhas) in this film. Same, you could witness in Padmavati film, where Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh married Padmavati (Deepika Padukone). Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji falls in love for the Padmavati beauty.

2. War Drama
Both the films are revolved around war drama. We have witnessed number of wars sequences in Baahubali 2 and the same kind of war, we will witness again in Padmavati movie.

3. Budget
Both the movie’s budget is over 150 crores. Though Baahubali 2 costs over 200 crores, Padmavati budget ranges between 160 to 180 crores. Though the buzz is not so strong for Padmavati, still we hope it to be a big hit.

4. Devasena Vs Padmavati
Both the characters have a similarity, even though Bahuabli 2 Devasena character is a fictitious one. Both are strong women and ready to fight rather than crying for help.

5. Female Centric Drama
Bahaubali 2 seems like a male dominant film, but it isn’t. You will witness Sivagami, Avantika and Devasena has played an important role in this film. It was actually a female centric movie. Same, we could say for Padmavati, which is based on the life of Queen Padmavati of Mevar.
