We all know that, Mission Mangal craze is way ahead than Batla House, but we should not forget that last year Satyameva Jayate surprised when it earned better than Gold on a longer run. Though, the history seems not to be repeated this time but I am sure that Batla House has enough fuel to chase Mission Mangal on a box office run.
Here are the five reasons why Batla House will be a game changer:
1. Controversial Content:
Bollywood now a days not only doing a strong content film but it also trying to find out those stories which are controversial. This year, Vivek Agnihotri’s The Tashkent Files was one of the most controversial films based on Lal Bahadur Shastri death. This movie also based on an police encounter in Delhi way back in 2008, which is still considered as one of the controversial encounters. So audience have a strong urge to find out the truth through this film.
2. Patriotic Theme:
It is one of the most saleble thing for Bollywood right now, as films on Patriotism and Social Change is working great. Whether it is URI or The Tashkent Files, Article 15, or Padman, all these films have worked well at the box office. John has already mastered this art with movies like Parmanu, Raw, and Satyameva Jayate. Now, he seems to be expecting the same response from Batla House as well.
3. Teaser and Trailer Response:
It is important for a film that audience like the teaser and trailer first. If the response of these two is negative than people often stay away for going in Cinemas. But if we consider Batla House, audience have loved both the teaser and trailer. Now, it would be important to see how the audience will respond when the film will hit the screens on August 15.
4. Nikkhil Advani:
He is known for directing films like Kal Ho Na Ho, D-day, Patiala House and many others. Though, he had a share of hits and flops but those who have seen D-day will know that he had nailed the film into perfection. It was a crime thriller based on Dawood Ibrahim and the stellar cast of Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Irrfan Khan. The film didn’t got big earning but it was a well made film. So, he knows how to make such gory films.
5. John Abraham:
Force, Satyameva Jayate, RAW, Parmanu all these films proves that John is a hardcore action hero. In last two years he added patriotism element in his action films and now he is continuing with this formula. Parmanu has changed his career in a big way and now he is on the rise after Satyameva Jayate. I am sure he will surprise us again with Batla House where he is essaying the character of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav.
Altogether, audience taste has been gradually changing from a stardom based films to content based films, so that means Batla House will be another big hit for John Abraham when it will release on August 15 along with the clash with Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal.
