1. No Smoking (2007)
Anurag Kashyap’s film is always dark and edgy, with a thrilling element in it. Even his 2010 film No Smoking is full of suspense-thriller. John Abraham played the protagonist in the film, which also stars Paresh Rawal in it. This film is one of his most difficult films, which is too hard to understand for the common audience.
2. Dhobi Ghat (2010)
Kiran Rao’s debut directorial film Dhobi Ghat revolves around 4 different characters in the film. This film makes a lot of sense but it is too hard to understand the film in a first time watch. This film stars Aamir Khan and Prateik Babbar in key roles.
3. Om Dar-B-Dar (1998)
This is one of such rare gem that even censor board didn’t pass this film when it was sent in 1988. It was in 2014 that this film actually got a selective release in India. This plot of this film is full of jump-cut scenes and it is so difficult to predict about the movie. Though none of the scenes make a complete sense it is a well made artistic film.
4. Rockstar (2011)
Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor starring Rockstar seems a simple movie. But, soon it gets complicated with a different range of emotions. It is a beautiful movie made with a perfection by Imtiaz Ali. This film also stars Nargis Fakhri in lead role.
5. Talaash (2012)
Yet another Aamir Khan movie has made in this list. In this film, there are many twists, which is not easy to understand. Even, the audience was shocked when they got to know that Kareena is a ghost in the film, which also stars Rani Mukherjee in it. A complete gem by Reema Kagti, who directed this film.
