Despite mixed and negative reactions, War 2 is strongly performing on day 2 which is also an Independence Day. Though, War 2 fails to bring the magic of War for day 1 which was 53 crores nett, which included 2 crores nett from South. Still, War 2 did decent collections if we consider South market too.
Released in 5500 screens plus, War 2 able to rake around 29 crores nett in Hindi market. Another 23 crores nett from Telugu market and 25 lakhs from Tamil market. That makes a total around 52.25 crores nett across India on Day 1. That simply means that, Junior NTR craze worked in India which saved this film to some level.
Talking about Day 2, War 2 is selling almost 60K tickets per hour between 11 to 12 pm. That again means that Day 2 will be much more bigger than day 1 in India. The audience occupancy of morning show on day 2 is around 35 percent. The afternoon and evening show will be much bigger and better.
So, the negative reviews are not talking a toll right now, it will see a downfall from Monday onwards. Right now, Day 2 looks grand and War 2 expected to collect around 43 to 45 crores nett Hindi alone. If that happens, two days Hindi total will be around 72 to 74 crores nett. If we talk about Pan India, War 2 will cross 100 crores nett in two days without an iota of doubt.
