Rajkummar Rao Election voting drama has hit the right chord among the Bollywood critics and cinema fans. At the latest, Newton has completed 4 glorious days at the box office.

Made with a budget of just 9 crores, Newton has collected 96 lakhs on the first day. It got released in over 450 screens and collected 2.52 crores on the second day. The third day was even better as it has earned 3.42 crores. On the fourth day, Rajkummar Rao starring film raked 1.31 crores, which makes the four days total to 8.21 crores.
No one had a single thought that Rajkummar Rao will have such a good run after a debacle in collections on the first day. This film faces a clash with Sanjay Dutt’s Bhoomi and Shraddha Kapoor’s Haseena Parkar. Interestingly, this film is doing better collection business than the other releases.
Directed by Amit V Masurkar, this film stars Pankaj Tripathi, Anjali Patil, Raghubhir Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in key roles. It is of the best films of 2017, which recently sent for Oscar Nomination from India to compete in Oscars 2018 in the foreign language category.
