Story: This series takes us back to 1962 and we see Matty (Miles Ekhardt) who got lost after an entry of a new family in the Derry’s town. Since the missing of Matty, few strange things starts happening with the kids known to Matty. This is when, Matty’s friends realizes that he is in trouble and needs the help. There is some strange entity or power out there who is playing with the weakness of these kids. What will happen next falls the rest of the story.

This series features Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Matilda Lawler, Mikkal Karim-Fidler and others in key roles.

The early reviews of IT Welcome To Derry Episode 1 is highly positive and we could hope for better episodes in this series in longer run.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: The horror is scary as soon as we see what happens to Matty in the car. The introduction of this series is pretty crazy and might not being liked by kids at all. The devil’s baby in the start and the end of this first episode is scary to the next level. I wasn’t expected to much blood and drama in the first episode but it is worth watching. All the characters were good and they were in their elements. The production value is superb as the makers takes us back to 60s era in no time. The makers have worked really well on script writing as there are some utterly funny dialogues too in this debut episode. It was scary to see someone coming out of the 70 mm big screen and do the unthinkable. We hope the makers keep the audience excitement alive till the very end of this series. The editing is good and so thus the VFX work. The background music elevates the story to maximum. The screenplay is superb and apt to the point. We have already seen the two movies of “IT” and still there are enough potential to make us glued in the story.

This series is based on “IT” by author Stephen King. It have been directed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs. The musical score has been given by Benjamin Wallfisch. The cinematography done by Daniel Vilar. The editing handled well by Esther Sokolow.

Altogether, IT Welcome To Derry first episode is superb and there are lot of scary surprises there for the audience.

Last Word: Watch it for the story, horror and Matty.

Bollywood Crazies Ratings: IT Welcome To Derry- 3 stars.
