The Marksman Review, Box Office Result, Hit Or Flop In Theaters?

The Marksman is the latest release Hollywood film in India on February 26, 2021. Though it has officially released in USA on January 15, 2021. The screentime of The Marksman is around 108 minutes.

The story of this film revolves around Liam Neeson aka Jim Hanson, who is a retired Marine officer. While riding around the Arizona border, one day he saw a mother and a boy crossing the Mexican border. Well, few gangsters come out of a sudden from the Mexican border and demanded the boy and his mother back. Well, Jim is in no mood to return them back. In a bullet fire, the mother lost her life and urge Jim to take care of his kid Jacob Perez. Jim’s life turns upside down in order to save the boy. This is what forms the rest of the story. This film also stars Katheryn Winnick, Juan Pablo Raba, Teresa Ruiz aka Rosa (boy’s mother), Luce Rains and many more.

The reviews of The Marksman isn’t that great as per the reports. This film has received 5.9 stars out of 10 on IMDB. It also holds 35 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and 44 percent ratings on Meta critic website.

This film has been directed by Robert Lorenz. It has been produced by Sculptor Media, Zero Gravity Management, Stonehouse Motion Pictures. The music composer of this film is Sean Callery, editing has been done by Luis Carballar. The cinematography of this movie handled by Mark Patten.

Bollywood Crazies Opinion: There is nothing new to the plot a predictable story. Still, Liam Neeson did a great job in his elderly role who fights against the odd to save the boy. The plot is flat and the film turns slow in the first half. The second half is much better and has some high duty action.

The budget of The Marksman is around USD 25 million – 184 crores. This film opens slow at the box office and reportedly earned USD 6.1 million – around 45 crores in 10 days.

Altogether, The Marksman is one of those movie that is one time watch as there is nothing new which will excite you to watch again.
