Sumona Chakravarti is one of the most talented actresses in Television and Bollywood Industry. She debuted in Bollywood with Aamir Khan starring film Mann, when she was just 10 years old.

She was born in Lucknow on 24 June 1986. She went to Loreto Convent School, in Lucknow. She then moved to Mumbai and graduated from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. She is the second runner-up in the contest titled as Times of India Mr. & Miss Perfect 2004. She essayed a cameo in the Barfi! (2012) starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz in key roles. She was shared screen space with Salman Khan in Kick film (2014).

Sumona Chakravarti has started working in TV serials from 2006, where she acted in Kasamh Se. She played the role of Nivedita Deb in the serial. She later worked in Detective Doll, Sun Yaar Chill Maar, Kasturi, Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi, Sapno Se Bhare Naina, Khotey Sikkey. She rose to fame with her serial Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. She later worked with Kapil Sharma on his show, Comedy Nights with Kapil.

Currently, Sumona Chakravarti is working in The Kapil Sharma Show along with Kiku Sharda, Chandan Prabhakar and many more.
